Favorite Site: Groupon. This site is awesome. Basically it’s a daily coupon that gets sent out to those who are signed up and offers insanely good deals to us folks in the greater Charlotte area. Favorite Video: Ascendance from “America’s Got Talent.” Only one of many that struck my fancy. We’re considering putting in a climbing wall at the studio so that we can perform routines just like this one. Thoughts?
Favorite french fries: You can find them all nice and battered up at Locust’s very own “TailGator’s Sports Grill.” Man, they’re good!
Favorite Website: GoogleFight. Just plug in two keywords, people’s names, or whatever else you’d like and see which one has more Google results. Yes, it may sound boring but trust me when I say that it’s a lot more fun that you’d think. And if you were wondering, which I’m sure you were, I have more Google searches than Aaron. Oh yeah!

Adam | Cobra

Meet Adam. He’ll be a senior at West Stanly. And if you’re thinking he looks familiar… well, it may be because we worked with his sister last year. And they both have the same piercing eyes. Just ask Adam — it’s all I could talk about during his shoot. His eyes are stunning. Literally and figuratively.
Adam plays football at West and loves Sundrop. And for those reasons and many more, we’re a big fan. He did an awesome job on his shoot (clearly!) and we had a blast.
As you can see, Adam loves his car and loves going to the track with it to race. And if you’re lucky enough, you just might catch a glimpse of it driving around the streets of Locust.
Adam is a perfect example of what it means to have a personality-infused senior session. As you can see from his shoot, we love when our Seniors bring clothes and props that are important to them. And the result? Incredibly awesome pictures that have your name written all over them (Figuratively, not literally. Though we can do that too, if you’d like).

Favorite Video: I’m sure a majority of you have seen this video. However, “The Evolution of Dance” is a must-see and therefore I wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t introduce the rest of you to it. Feel free to watch numero dos as well.
Favorite commercial: This one’s from a few years back but has withstood the test of time and remains my absolute favorite to this day. Jeter at the 14 seconds mark is the best part in my opinion.
Favorite website: Sorry to repeat myself, but you really have to check out Sporcle.com. New games are up daily.

Happy Friday, folks! Here a few things to brighten your day.
Favorite Video: Baby Laughing. Even if you’ve seen it before, watch it again. Yes, it’s that cute.
Favorite Music Website: Most of you have probably heard of Pandora, but if you haven’t, you’re in for a treat. Basically, you can create your own radio station. However, remember that you’re limited to 40 hours of listening per month. So use those hours wisely!
Favorite Local Park: Oakboro District Park. Bet you didn’t know that was there did ya?! Well now you do so go check it out!

Favorite Homemade Ice Cream: found locally at The Fresh House of Locust. Typically a lover of all things chocolate, I’m a fan of the Chocolate Peanut Butter cup ice cream (not sure of it’s exact title), but honestly, it’s ALL good. Try it for yourself.

Summer is here and school is almost over. So we thought we’d celebrate with a Summer special for the Seniors out there.
What? When? Where?
We’ve set aside Wednesday, June the 30th to spend over in Downtown Concord. We’ll be there all day, from 9am to 7pm, scheduling 30 minute Senior sessions for only $30!* Want more than 30 minutes? Fine by us! Schedule 60 minutes for only $60.
Yes, we’re talking on-location senior sessions for only $30 a pop! That’s a pretty incredible deal. Imagine colorful walls, funky alleyways, ladders, stairs, and much more. It’s the perfect session if you’re looking for a quick, urban shoot.
