Favorite beverage: Laura (our intern) and I tried the “Almond Joy Frappe” at the local Daily Grind Coffee House yesterday and both finished it off in under five minutes. Yes, it was that good. And I can’t wait to go back and try one of their many other flavors.

Favorite Website: If you like to know what’s going on locally, weather-wise…. well then, Weatherbonk.com is the website for you. Updates, webcams and maps lay it all out for you. So if you want to be prepared for crazy storms like last night, tune into this very cool, very informative site.

Favorite French Bakery: Amelie’s of NoDa. Open 24/7. Yep, that’s right. And this amazing little bakery is busy busy busy. Check out just how busy here (even at 3am)! And may I recommend my personal favorites; the Salted Caramel Brownies or the Twice-Baked Almond Croissants. Trust me, with the incredible flavors and awesome atmosphere, you can’t go wrong.

Favorite Site: Groupon. This site is awesome. Basically it’s a daily coupon that gets sent out to those who are signed up and offers insanely good deals to us folks in the greater Charlotte area. It’s something you don’t want to miss out on. And… here in the near future you might just be seeing a crazy awesome deal from yours truly, Bamboo Studios. So sign up and stay tuned!

Favorite Video: Ascendance from “America’s Got Talent.” Only one of many that struck my fancy. We’re considering putting in a climbing wall at the studio so that we can perform routines just like this one. Thoughts?
Favorite french fries: You can find them all nice and battered up at Locust’s very own “TailGator’s Sports Grill.” Man, they’re good!
Favorite Website: GoogleFight. Just plug in two keywords, people’s names, or whatever else you’d like and see which one has more Google results. Yes, it may sound boring but trust me when I say that it’s a lot more fun that you’d think. And if you were wondering, which I’m sure you were, I have more Google searches than Aaron. Oh yeah!

Favorite Video: I’m sure a majority of you have seen this video. However, “The Evolution of Dance” is a must-see and therefore I wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t introduce the rest of you to it. Feel free to watch numero dos as well.
Favorite commercial: This one’s from a few years back but has withstood the test of time and remains my absolute favorite to this day. Jeter at the 14 seconds mark is the best part in my opinion.
Favorite website: Sorry to repeat myself, but you really have to check out Sporcle.com. New games are up daily.
